1. So what're you wearing?
San Diego t-shirt and Tinkerbell PJ bottoms. Don't judge me.
2. Coffee or tea? How do you take it?
Coffeeeeeee. Black if it's hot, 2 cream and 2 sugar if it's iced. I enjoy tea, too, on occasion. I take that with just honey if it's available, sugar if it's not.
3. Biggest recent triumph?
Getting my damn car fixed, finally, and just surviving the last week.
4. Biggest recent disappointment?
Deciding not to apply for the management position in my department. There are a lot of reasons behind my decision, and even though I'm pretty positive it's the right choice (for now), I can't help but feel like a quitter. Next time, though! For shizz. I need more management experience, more (formal) education, and I need to work on getting the people I work with to respect me. Having the entire department blow off the meeting I was running made me realize that I would not be effective leadership at this time. Still, what I wouldn't give for a stupid raise... we've been in a wage freeze for two years now, and I could really use a pay increase.
5. Favorite food? Last thing you ate?
I'm a pastaholic. I know, I know, carbs: hissss boooo. I'm trying to be better about it. Last thing I ate was a packet of Top Ramen. Pasta would have been a step up.
6. Addiction?
Seriously? Caffiene. If I don't have two cups of coffee in me by noon, I get a headache. Less seriously, I'm also addicted to serialized drama. I'm not sure why. Scripted tv shows; comic books with long intricate arcs; book series... yummy.
7. Something you're looking forward to?
NYCC. It's all the way in October, but I'm supeeeeeer excited. I've been saving all my change for it since last October. My piggy bank is nearly full! I'm going to have to start a new one soon.
8. Favorite song?
Ooh, this is tough. Might be "Trains" by Porcupine Tree. That song is just epic. EPIC. That's probably my all-time favorite. At this very moment, I can't stop listening to "Thinking 'bout Something" by Hanson, but check back with me in 10 minutes.
9. Taken? Single? For how long have you enjoyed this status?
Single. Perpetually. And by perpetually, I mean about two years. Gone on a couple of dates since, but no dice.
10. Any guilty pleasures?
Too many guilty pleasures. Anita Blake books, before they devolved into poorly written porn. Smallville. Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Smallville. The occasional cigarette. Long hurt/comfort fanfics that I don't have nearly the attention span to write myself. I'm sure there's more.
